TVMOBiLi is a new and unique software download that enables your PC to communicate via your local broadband wireless network with any DLNA client connected to your television, and also via the internet on a permission basis to other PCs.
TVMOBiLi is built around the core prinipal of UPnP/DLNA and exposes simple, but powerful, SDKs that allows developers and content providers to customise TVMOBiLi to enhance their business offerings. Currently we support 2 different SDKs that are listed below.
Branding Toolkit
Using the branding toolkit you can completely customise the TVMOBiLi engine and make it look and feel like your own product, offering your own services and solutions in your company's colours!
We provide all the necessary components to run the UPnP/DLNA TVMOBiLi engine, you package and configure the engine into your own colours. The TVMOBiLi engine uses an xml configuration document to determine which logos to display and how to display textual content to the user.
The main interface is completely stylesheeted using W3C standard HTML and can be modified quickly and simply to suit your needs.
Plug-In Toolkit
TVMOBiLi supports a sophisticated plug-in architecture that allows content providers (or just hobbyists) to develop custom 'content' plug-ins that allow TVMOBiLi to communicate with 3rd party services/applications and display their content using the core TVMOBiLi engine.
The plug-in toolkit allows content providers to seamlessley integrate their data/content into the TVMOBiLi framework. Using this toolkit a content provider can develop an application (ie. phone, desktop, widget etc.), or web service and promote their content through the TVMOBiLi engine.
Whether you are interested in just getting your media from a bespoke device that you already own, want to distribute your existing premium content, or simply want to see your current content that is stored in a web service (eg. Flickr, Facebook, Picasa etc.) this plug-in architecture is for you. For a small consultancy fee we can even develop the plug-in for you!
The term UPnP is derived from plug-and-play, a technology for dynamically attaching devices directly to a computer.
